I have had this problem for a number of years but it comes and goes, so I ignored it. It worries me now because I%26#039;m older and it hurts more. My left foot is worser than my right foot. The pain is on the top of my foot (where your lower leg joins your foot in an arch). The pain also radiates up through my shin bone and calf and is very sore to massage. It seems okay to walk up a hill, but is very very painful to walk down a hill. It appears that it irritates me if the foot is at a certain angle. It also hurts if I%26#039;m sitting down and try to exercise it in circular motions. I don%26#039;t know if this is linked to my pelvic/lower back pains. And I also have a severely bent big toe. The long bone in the big toe just looks deformed from wearing tight shoes as a kid. If I try to bend my big toe up or down, it feels like a tendon or ligament is being pulled. Can someone please help. Will Bupa be able to do something or is this cosmetic? Thanks.
Problem with feet when walking?
It sounds like nerve damage to me. I don%26#039;t know what bupa is, so I%26#039;m not sure if that can help?
Reply:I would say it%26#039;s a muscle problem. Try a heating pad for a while and if that dosn%26#039;t work, try a doctor. Maybe it%26#039;s more serious than you thought
Reply:Sounds like a possible bone fragment. You need to visit your doctor and get an x-ray.
Reply:i dont know what bupa is but it could be tendisitious and you should go to a foot doctor a.s.a.p.! it also could be athlete%26#039;s foot or callus i really think its tendisitious though!
get better!
Reply:It sounds like everything is linked up in one painful puddle of misfortune. It is very common to experience lower back pains because of feet problems. From the sounds of it, you are describing your achilles tendon as the sight of a lot of the pain. This is a common sight for tendonitis and can be recurrent. This tendonitis or predisposition to it can cause calf muscle problems like strains and that sort. The toe thing seems weird and it is you major contributor to your ability to walk correctly so I wouldn%26#039;t just shrug that off.
So what to do to fix it.... Well first, if you have the money, go to an orthopedic doc or a pediatrist. They can get you quick answers with just a glance. They have seen it all but it will cost for their advice. Next step down you can try a specialty shoe store. I%26#039;m talking about the kind that special sizes for diabetes patients or runners. They can look at your arch and everything else and recomment some shoes that may help out everything. Their advice is free but the shoes may cost a bit. Lastly you can go to your regular family doctor. They may not know too much and just refer you. The chances are, they will tell you to get new shoes every few months, make sure they are proper fitting, and to take motrin as needed for pain.
Hope this was a little bit of help.
Reply:could be something like tendonitis. get the doctor to check it out
