Someone keeps tearing off signs and taking off plastic leaflet holders hanging on the outside of my shop?

i have a sign outside my shop pasted on the wall that shows my shop%26#039;s operating hours, a plastic hanger hanging on the glass panel with leaflets on it, %26amp; a straw mat outside for ppl to put their shoes. one by one when i come back the next morning, they disappear. i%26#039;ve put up another operating hours sign again, %26amp; it was torn down within 2 days.





my shop is relatively small for the kind of business it does, it%26#039;s a facial salon, but it%26#039;s enjoying good business and success. all the shops around my unit are either manicure/pedicure spas, facial salons, massage parlours, or hair salons. my mum told me that it must%26#039;ve been a jjealous tenant (maybe from another facial salon) who saw the thriving business. i know i should just find other ways to prevent them from stealing our things, but i want to find out who it is without having the need to install stupid cameras. i feel like printing the operating hrs sign on a sticky lizard trap %26amp; have that idiot stuck to the sign till the next morning lol!

Put the hours sign on the inside of the window and a copy of the hand out so if they are gone people can write down the info.
Reply:Just put in large letters that this sign is being watched. They will think that you have a camera watching your store and this may stop your problem.
Reply:A private eye on a stake out should be able to do the trick. Once caught, you might be able to persuade them to reimburse your costs in lieu of prosecution.... particularly if they are a competitor.
