HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Reply:seems like you are interested in buying things and not see things. Thailand has 3000+ year history - why not check that out. Bangkok has one billion tailors, dress makers. Show them what you want, let them measure you, pick out your fabric and you have $3000 wardrobe for a quarter of the cost.
Reply:Lol...the trend is not at all behind in Thailand. You have to go the right places,
Reply:The fabrics are absolutely gorgeous in Thailand. It is an enormous shopping mecca for most things, but esp. home furnishings (a bit bulky to ship generally).

We%26#039;re not into brand names, so not sure how good they are there. But there are many, many knock-offs, both there and in Hong Kong.

Generally, I%26#039;d suggest looking for non-branded merchandise, that is different and well-made, rather than faddish.
Reply:jim thompsons for silks, go to the flea market
Reply:All Brand names tend to be cheap in Thailand, even in the big malls.

You can get hand made stuff very, very cheap.

The the weekend market/JJ or patanum canter.
